West Coast Road Trip // Salton Sea

Salton Sea

I’ve discovered that when planning a road trip you literally want to see everything and anything that looks remotely interesting, which can be a good and bad thing. Palm Springs is huge on my list, I love the heat, the desert, the atmosphere and now I’ve discovered Salton Sea and have to go there.

Salton Sea was once the next hip place to live, it was dubbed the new Palm Springs back in the 60’s and everyone flocked there and started building homes. It didn’t last long though, and the town was soon abandoned. You can read all about it here.

The place is now a ghost town and in my opinion would be an amazing place to check out. Anything that looks like it’s from a zombie movie I’m all for.
